There was breaking news this morning while I was getting ready for work. The LDS Tabernacle in Provo, Utah had caught fire and basically burned for hours and hours and hours. They were saying on the news this morning that it appears to be a total loss. The newspaper said the Tabernacle was built in 1883 and took 15 years to complete to the cost of $100,000.00. It's such a historical building for the community. It makes me sad!

Pretty sad. Evidently there was supposed to be a big Christmas presentation tonight and there was theatrical equipment worth over one million dollars that were lost as well. I'm anxious to see what happens down the road... will they try to salvage it?
