Whaddya Think?

Okay. Totally random thought here, but I want your input.
(You can comment anonymously too.)

I'm thinking of doing 365 days of continuous blog posts.
Seriously.
One post a day for three hundred and sixty five days.
No assigned daily topic. Just real life stuff. Shooting from the hip.
That dumb 30 day challenge got me thinking.
Nothing in my life (or Ken's life) is THAT interesting, but is there anyone out there that would read all of the posts and follow them or would I just be wasting my time. What do you think??

Thoughts and comments please!

Froggys and Ewoks and Sharks, Oh My!

Today while I was at work, I needed some information on a book I was reading to my class. I googled "Froggy" (which is the series of children's books) and THIS came up...

I am sorry but it made me giggle because the dog under that frog getup looks a lot like Tank.

I discovered many, many more doggy duds on the world wide web.

Doggie "formals"... are you kidding me?

There is a wide assortment of animal costumes out there.
Is that really a lucrative business to go into?
I, for one, am keeping my day job.

I am confused. Tank has a sweater, I know. It's because he is old and shivers when he is outside in the winter. I do it to keep him healthy. But an Ewok costume? Come on! Ewoks do not promote good health, people! Who does this? Mark my words... Tank will never, ever be Dorothy from Oz, Darth Vader, or Superman for any reason. He may, however, end up sporting a frog towel after his bath because it was on clearance, but that's my limit. HA!

Ken's trip to Satan's Warehouse...

When I got home from work yesterday, I told Ken that I wanted to run down to Hobby Lobby, aka Satan's Warehouse, to look for a picture frame. He willingly came along. Don't you worry... I took the camera along to document the trip and PROVE that Ken walked a little on the dark side of the craft world.

Here is Ken, all geared up to go into the inferno that belongs to Satan.

He immediately began to complain about the carts. He got all uptight because they are so tiny and "not manly" at all.  He wanted a manly cart. So, so sorry. But it didn't stop him from pushing it.

I think he was referring  to carts they have at Costco. Much more manly.

The only problem is you can't leave Costco without spending a few hundred dollars!! Yep. This is my car after Ken and I went to Costco this morning.

So back to Hobby Lobby.
I needed a frame.

This is what I wanted to frame. We got this wedding card from a friend of mine and I love it! All it said on the inside was "for eternity". I don't know why but it beings a smile to my face every time I see it.

We agreed on a frame and picked up an easel as well.
Mission accomplished!

Ahhhh.... but wait! That was NOT the end to our shopping adventure.

We found many things that we disliked, and a lot that we liked too.
DISLIKE!

DISLIKE!

Yikes!
Very, very much DISLIKE these fuzzy things!

LIKE!!

LOVE!!
(just the shade, though)

Funeral parlor-esque. DISLIKE!

DISLIKE!

I am sorry, Ken. But there were just as many men in that store as there were women. This is Ken with his friend Randy. Randy was there with his wife too. Randy's first words to Ken were "you two must still be married if you're shopping here." DISLIKE!

I don't know... Randy seems pretty darn happy about being at Satan's Warehouse.

We also ran into Ken's cousin, Zane. He was with his wife too. Zane's not looking quite as happy about being at Satan's Warehouse as Randy was. Maybe it has something to do with the box Zane is holding.

What's this?
Ken is actually contemplating something to purchase from Satan's stock?
Could it be that he may possibly LIKE something?

These were in debate for a while.
Ken was pretty sure he wanted these for his office.

They even made it into the cart.
Yep... that would be Ken's hand pushing the unmanly mini cart.

We found this too.
Ken loved it! WIN!!

And this... definitely a winner!!

In the end, we decided on these. BEAUTIFUL!!

Cha-ching! Please notice WHO is paying!!
(that would my frame and easel... btw)

This would be Ken's selection. All Ken's things. Pretty good... considering it all came from the evil warehouse.

Here's what Ken did with the items he sold his craft-hating soul for...

Pretty pattern, don't you think?

Here's what I did with my measly purchase.

So in the end, who benefitted more from the trip to Satan's Warehouse? Yep. That's right... Ken did. I have a feeling we'll be going back there together sometime soon.
