Closet of Shame...

Our home isn't dirty or very cluttered, in my opinion. Since getting married, we've managed to combine lives and keep things semi-organized. Don't get me wrong... some "stuff"of mine could stand to be thrown out now that Ken's belongings are all moved in. Surprisingly, he didn't bring as much as I thought he would.

Since Ken moved into a home that I was already living in, it was pretty established to say the least. Established with my c-r-a-p. Let me pose a question...
Do "normal" people have immaculate closets and storage rooms?

Since Ken now lives with me, he has discovered my "abnormalities". And let me just say that there have been many that have come out of the woodwork. One of which is the closet in our T.V. room. Our new joke stems from the fact that I pretty much keep telling him I'm going to clean out the closet. I tell him this daily. It hasn't happened. And I don't foresee it happening in the next little while either. Let's be honest...

Are these three pictures anywhere near "normal"?

We have a closet that... well... thanks to me isn't exactly organized. In fact, it is a hodge-podge of things that don't ever find a home anywhere else in our house. This closet has been my nemesis for three and a half years now.

Here is how it would look if you visited our home...

Here's what it looks like if you lived in our home...

The above picture is of the "craft" side of the closet. You have your choice of candles, ribbon, gift boxes, wrapping paper and holiday pictures. Pretty convenient that the Kitchen Aid Mixer is on the bottom left. Handy.

Below is the side that has the shampoo, shaving gel, soap and various other bathroom paraphernalia. Oh look! There's a candle on that side too!

Above we have a nice collection of towels, Clorox wipes, a baking dish, and Ken's foot massager. It seems to be a logical combination to me. And by the way... the foot massager is the ONLY thing in the entire closet that remotely belongs to Ken.

Below, there appears to be a nativity in the midst of the treasures that are within the closet. Good to know since Christmas is less than 3 months away.

So sorry to the blogging world that my closet looks so awful.
It needs to be cleaned out and seriously organized.
NOTHING in our house looks like this...

IS BEING THIS ORGANIZED EVEN NORMAL?

Additional mail...

Evidently, people enjoyed my simple letter to all of the women whose thighs don't touch. If you didn't see that post, click here. Believe it or not, I have additional letters to write to other women in the world. So, here are just a few more.

Dear Women with straight hair,
I hate you.
Please come do my hair every morning.
Love,
Kristina

Dear Women with naturally amazingly-full eyelashes,
I hate you too.
That's it.
Love,
Kristina

Dear Women who jog as a habit,
I hate you the most.
Do you ever buy Pop Tarts?
Love,
Kristina

Dear Women who have perfect nails,
I don't hate you.
But I do dislike you strongly.
Love,
Kristina

Is it a sin to have diet Coke on the temple grounds? On July 27th, it was mighty hot. Diet Coke was the only thing that got us though shooting pictures!

Here we are!

This is my good friend Kim. She was with us and the photographer as we were shooting pictures around the temple grounds. She was also in charge of carrying our diet Cokes which was a VERY IMPORTANT job!!

Yes, that is a water bottle crammed down the front of Kim's shirt.
