43/365 - My Graffiti Artist...

Ken decided earlier this spring that anything wrought iron in our back yard needed to be touched up. So, he has spent a little bit of time lately making the old, rusty wrought iron look better than new. He has this "thing" with adding gold to all of the black. Here he is adding gold accent to my outdoor plant stand.

He set up a little "station" for his painting.

He started with an old set of iron chairs and a table the previous owner had left. they used to be green and a little bit rusty. Here they are once Ken got a hold of them,

They live in this little corner of our back yard.

He sprayed this pot with a cream colored stone texture.

He painted this one with a paint called Hammered Bronze.
We really love it!

Ken's decided to spray just about everything, including some dandelions growing in our lawn. He painted a corner of the arbor...

and one side of a paving stone.

So there you are!
The past week has been full of paint fumes, overspray, gold accenting, and one proud graffiti artist named Ken. I LOVE that he is discovering the fun that comes with being a happy homeowner. He is motivated to all of this himself and I am NOT complaining!
