48/365 - I'm Gonna Be A Bear...

I love Jenny, the first grade teacher that teaches in the room right next to mine. I love all of the first grade teachers I teach with, but I see Jenny constantly throughout the day. She has done so much for our team with our upcoming dance festival, and has been a great listening ear and friend this year. Last night, I went to Pioneer Party to grab something that Ken's mom wanted. While I was there, I saw this and thought it would be perfect for Jenny.

It's a cute bag full of chocolate covered cinnamon bears with this fun little thought attached.
It would be super easy to recreate.
This is what the thought says...

I'm Gonna Be A Bear
In this life I'm a woman.
In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear.
When you're a bear, you get to hibernate.
You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you're suppose to eat yourself stupid.
I could deal with that too.
When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake up to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs.
I could definatley deal with that.
If you're a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat away anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling.
He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
YUP, I'M GONNA BE A BEAR

Seriously though...
doesn't it make you kind of want to be a bear??

  1. You had me at hibernating...what I wouldn't do for some uninterrupted sleep!
